Here is another very fairly priced option we offer for light duty applications. Perfect for stationary or seldom moved carts. A solid pair of decorative wooden hub wagon wheels at a low cost, with a custom cut-to-your size axle included.. Tough as nails durability. Works very well for display carts, flower carts, serving carts, and many other uses. This our most simple combination of wheels and an axle. Of course not meant for horse drawn use, or any application where people will be on anything made from this kit. It will hold up to 160 Lbs. For Stationary use, or seldom moved.
Here's what you'll get:
Two wheels solidly built from Hickory and Steel.
Wooden hub, spokes, and rims.
1/8” deep Steel banded tire, heat forged, reinforced with bolts, screws.
Custom 1” solid steel axle cut axle to your needs, up to 52” long.
1” felloe (rim) width.
Available in many different sizes.
Due to custom nature of this kit, please call or email with length of axle you need. We will need either the outside width of your cart or wagon, or the distance you want from outside to outside, or inside to inside of each hub. Give us a call. We want to get it right the first time.
We offer several finishing options towards the bottom of this page after you choose the size of your wheels. Our wagon wheels will hold up outside even if unfinished for many years. You will see a natural graying over the first few years, some serious weathering, but they will stay strong and solid. A fourteen year old same type Wheel with no finish still stands solid in front of our business.

Stain Your Wheels
We use Golden Oak for most projects, which lends a not too dark, not too light beautiful hue to these wheels. It also brings out the grain. Give us a call if you want another color. It may add a few dollars to the project, but we can do it. After thousands of wheels sold in this basic, warm-hued color, we have never had a complaint. |

Burn Your Wheels
This option really kicks up the rustic a notch, bringing the grain out even more, and adds a few decades in appearance, especially if stained afterward. We go over your wheels with a torch, and there is no damage to integrity of the wheel, just enough to make it look antique. You can see the same finishing technique here: |

Varnish Your Wheels (Prices below Include both wheels)
This is the finishing touch for either option above. We can use two types of varnish in two different styles. Gloss, will give you just that, a more shiny appearance. Or Matte, which will lend a more subtle, and rustic appearance. These are offered below in both indoor and outdoor choices. If your wheels will be outdoors exposed to sunlight, rain, etc., you should choose the outdoor option. |
